DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR

Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Hours: Part-time

I. Purpose of the Job:

  • Expand the reach and impact of Fellowship Church through innovative digital marketing strategies alongside thePrograms and Creative Teams. This team member will be a creative, results-driven professional with experience in social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation.

II. Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Research Ability
  • Digital Literacy
  • Composition of Sales Products
  • Bachelor’s Degree Related to Marketing, Business, or English
  • Proven experience as a digital marketing specialist or similar role
  • Experience promoting a brand or organization using social media (including Instagram and Facebook)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on performance metrics
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Experience in MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Proven track record of effective time management
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that align with the mission and values of Fellowship Church
  • Create engaging content for our website, social media channels, and email campaigns
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and analyzing performance metrics
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating email templates, writing copy, and tracking and analyzing results
  • Work closely with the Creative Director ensure alignment with overall creative vision and direction from the Lead Pastors
  • Collaborate with our Programs Lane to promote upcoming events and programs through digital channels
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends to ensure our strategies are effective and relevant
  • Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Develop projects to create content
  • Create micro content for weekends and special events
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Measure digital traffic
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to Director and Pastors
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Monitor project status and budget
  • Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
  • Participate in shoots and edit videos for conferences and special services
  • Oversee content for the ministries of Fellowship Church
  • Submit purchase requisitions pertaining to social media and website
  • Initiate social media strategies and timelines for services, departments, special events, and conferences
  • Find and moderate stories of life change to share on video and social media
  • Develop and upkeep an engaging website that acts as a first-time guest friendly platform
  • Serve as a liaison between technologies and Creative Department about marketing strategies
  • Understand the Fellowship Church brand, support and improve it through website and all social media
  • Connect with departments about potential stories of life change
  • Stay current on social media trends
  • Create timelines for social media posting and messaging
  • Be consistently raising up other digital marketing creatives to support other departments
  • Completion of any and all other necessary assigned tasks from the Creative Director and/or direct supervisor.

  • Weekly Responsibilities
  1. Attend weekly staff meetings
  2. Report updates on all projects to direct supervisor
  3. Respond to emails, phone calls, and texts in a timely manner
  4. Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload
  5. Communicate project progress with ministry departments
  6. During non-business hours, be available for rare emergency work
