Job Title: Receptionist/Operations Assistant
Hours: Part-time
I. Purpose of the Job:
The Receptionist/Operations Assistant serves as the first connection point for Fellowship Church, creating a welcoming and professional first impression for all guests, members, and vendors. This role manages front desk operations, communication channels, and the flow of information throughout the church office.
This position also supports the coordination of day-to-day IT and operational needs under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations and provides leadership to the Office Help Team. The Receptionist / Operations Assistant helps ensure communication, technology, and daily operations function smoothly so Staff are supported and equipped for ministry.

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with Planning Center, Slack, and Monday.com preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Communication
• Serve as the first connection point by welcoming and assisting all visitors, walk-ins, and appointments
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails (info@thefellowshipchurch.com)
• Monitor and respond to voicemail and general inquiries in a timely manner
• Route communication, requests, and needs to appropriate staff or departments
• Provide clear, helpful, and friendly communication to guests, members, and vendors
Front Desk & Communication Operations
• Manage daily front desk operations and reception workflows
• Receive, track, and distribute incoming packages and deliveries, notifying staff as needed
• Prepare and manage outgoing mail, including post office runs as needed
• Monitor building access and security systems
Operations & Systems Support
• Submit facility and calendar requests as needed to support staff and ministry activities
• Communicate IT-related scheduling needs and coordinate with appropriate teams
• Utilize tools such as Monday.com, Slack, and Planning Center to manage tasks and workflows
• Assist with database updates and administrative systems
• Support development and maintenance of operational processes and documentation
IT & Systems Support
• Support day-to-day IT needs for staff under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations
• Serve as a point of contact for IT-related requests and communication
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate more complex needs as necessary
• Assist in tracking and organizing IT inventory and equipment
• Coordinate communication with vendors or external support as needed
Team & Ministry Support
• Provide administrative and logistical support to staff as needed
• Lead, support, and help develop Office Help Dream Team members
• Coordinate scheduling and responsibilities for Office Help Team coverage
• Provide encouragement, prayer, and relational support to Office Help Team
• Assist with benevolence applications and incident reports
Operational Support
• Ensure staff are informed of deliveries, updates, and relevant operational needs
• Maintain availability of office and ministry supplies to support staff
• Prioritize tasks and respond to time-sensitive needs in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across departments
IV. Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with Planning Center data entry and database management
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Senior Director of Operations
• Other duties as assigned

VII. Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to approximately 40–50 pounds
• Ability to run off-site errands as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
VIII. Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Leads and provides support, guidance, and training to Office Help Team members
